The Raider Mite Team just returned from the Silver Stick Tournament in Huntsville, Alabama winning the Championship game against the Jr. Bulls of Brandon.  This was definitely a sit on the edge of your seat nail-biter.  With about 2 minutes left, the Raiders were down 2 players in the penalty box so it was a 5 on 3.  The kids were able to clear the zone for what felt like 20 minutes instead of 2 leaving the Mites victorious with a 2 to 1 win.  The kids played great, pulling it together despite all the fevers, sniffles and aches.  Way to go Mites!
